Vbuzzer Phone Service: Phone Number
2.21 Can I get a phone number for my account? How it works?
Yes, you can subscribe a phone number to your account. Currently we have made some US & Canada phone numbers available at $60/year. You simply make the subscription payment and select one of the available phone numbers. When someone calls the number you have subscribed to, Vbuzzer Messenger will pop up on your computer and you can click “answer” or choose to let it go into voicemail.

2.22 Which phone number can I get for my account?
Pretty much all the major areas of USA and Canada are available. To view available area codes, click here.

2.23 I am not located in the USA or Canada, can I still subscribe to a phone number from US/Canada?
Yes, you can subscribe a US/Canada phone number without being located in US/Canada.

2.24 Can I subscribe to a phone number in other countries?
At the current moment we only have US/Canada phone numbers available.

2.25 How do I answer a call when somebody calls me?
When somebody calls your phone number, Vbuzzer Messenger will pop up a window of incoming calls. You can click “accept” to take the call, or “reject” to let it go into voicemail.

2.26 Do I need to turn on my computer to receive phone calls?
If your computer is turned off, the calls will go directly into the Vbuzzer voicemail system. The system will record the voicemail and email it as a file attachment in MP3 format to your email on file. You will not miss a call even if you turn off your computer.

2.27 Can I keep my current phone number rather than getting a new one?
There is a chance you may be able to keep your current Canadian phone number. Please click here to see if it is possible.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer number porting for US numbers.

2.28 Is there any per minute fee for incoming calls?
There is no per minute fee for incoming calls.
