Softroute Corporation was founded in 2002, and since its inception, the mission statement has been to assist in facilitating communication by developing software that leverages the disruptive nature of the internet. The internet is an open platform for global data exchange; we take advantage of this nature and create specific technologies to exchange communication data fast, reliably and securely. Our key product is Vbuzzer.
From 2002 to 2004, we developed a telephony softswitch which routes voice calls over internet protocol. We use our own switch to originate and terminate calls for telephone carriers, and incorporated the live experiences into product enhancements.
In September 2005 we launched Vbuzzer, in an effort to serve global internet users with cost effective pc to phone calling and instant messaging.
In 2006, upon customer request, we made internet fax available via Vbuzzer Messenger. Users can send and receive faxes to any fax machine as easily as sending files from instant messenger. Likewise, from 2007-2009 we added mobile SMS and virtual private networks to Vbuzzer Messenger making it a unique “all in one” software that encompasses instant messaging, internet telephony, internet fax, mobile SMS, web conferencing and desktop sharing.
To date Vbuzzer has been downloaded by millions of customers globally allowing them to stay connected with family and friends conveniently and reliably. In addition to consumer use, Vbuzzer is deployed in some small and medium enterprises (SME) as a communicating and collaborative platform. Typical applications include enterprise messaging, enterprise telephony, enterprise faxing and online meetings.
Vbuzzer requires access to a broadband internet connection. It is not to be used as a replacement for your traditional telephone service and cannot be used for emergency calling.
Vbuzzer, associated trademarks and logos and the “Bee” symbol are trademarks of Softroute Corporation.
